First Things First

It occurred to me that if I was going to craft a Harrodesque blog that the first thing I needed to do would be to provide our old pal Brian with his very own Roundup-style moniker. Obviously, once his new name is selected, I'll have to use that name (and that name only) whenever I refer to Mr. Harrod. Accordingly, it should be a thoughtful selection. I think I should also avoid profanity.

Here's a few of my suggestions:
  • Illegally-elected Byram "Legislator" Brian Harrod
  • Brian "I-don't-really-live-in-Byram" Harrod
  • Ex-Mental Hospital Inmate Brian Harrod
  • Brian "The Thorazine Cowboy" Harrod
  • Failed Byram Businessman Brian Harrod
  • Brian "Has Anybody Seen my Straight Jacket?" Harrod
Anyway, I'll open the comments up to your suggestions ...

Welcome to Greenwich Ground Up!

I am The Grinder!

Since it seems that just about anyone with a computer, a grudge and too much time on their hands can create their own blog ... here's mine.

As you may have surmised from the title, the "Greenwich Ground Up" is a direct response to Brian Harrod's blog - the ridiculously titled "Greenwich Roundup."

Roundup? What does he think this is? The Old West?

By the way Brian, "Roundup" is the name of a popular wide-spectrum herbicide and a registered trademark. I've already dropped a dime on you to the trademark's owner. Hopefully you'll be hearing from the Monsanto Corporation's legal department shortly.

And speaking of the Greenwich Roundup, I almost forgot ...

I wanted to be sure to add some text in stupidly-sized letters in a variety of different colors, FONTS and sizes

Eye whill be shure to be ad plenty of miss-spellings and malapropisms also!

I started this post with a crazy photo just to add to that Greenwich Roundup feel. (Consider it my personal visual commentary on the ol' Roundup.)

I've gone to all of this trouble because I want everyone to know that Brian Harrod is a

stark raving LUNATIC!

And he really is ... but more on that later. (I promise.)

In the mean time, welcome to Greenwich Ground Up!

And feel free to leave me a comment! Unlike that coward Brian Harrod, I am happy to leave the comments feature on my blog activated.
